Short Biography
Graeme Perry’s journey into aviation began with a simple fascination with flight and a deep curiosity about how aircraft connect people and places across the world. What started as a childhood interest gradually became a lifelong calling, leading him to pursue a career in aviation with determination and discipline.
Over the years, Graeme worked his way through the ranks of commercial aviation, gaining experience in different roles and aircraft types before eventually earning the captain’s seat. Along the way, he learned that being a pilot is not only about technical skill, but also about leadership, responsibility, and the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure. These lessons would later shape his passion for teaching and mentoring other pilots.
As his flying career progressed, Graeme discovered that one of the most rewarding parts of aviation was helping others grow professionally. This inspired him to move into aviation instruction, where he now focuses on command preparation, leadership development, and Crew Resource Management training. He enjoys sharing real-world experiences from the cockpit and helping pilots build both confidence and competence.
Outside aviation, Graeme enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle. Cycling gives him time to think and recharge, while golf provides both relaxation and a reminder of the importance of patience and focus — qualities he believes are essential in aviation. He also enjoys traveling and spending meaningful time with family and friends.
Today, Captain Graeme Perry continues to contribute to the aviation community by guiding pilots on their own journeys toward leadership in the flight deck. For him, aviation is not just about flying aircraft — it is about developing people, building trust, and passing on knowledge to the next generation of professionals.
